The Rosso di Montalcino DOC by Fattoria del Pino is a full-bodied and structured wine, with a ruby red color and red fruit aromas. Soft taste with velvety tannins, a pleasant warmth that envelops the palate, characterized by a long and persistent finish. A red that reflects the aromas of one of the most renowned wine-growing areas in Tuscany.

The Fattoria del Pino winery was born on the hill of Montosoli in 2000 thanks to Jessica Pellegrini, in that area of Brunello where historically since time immemorial the vineyards give a fruit of particular value, coveted by many producers. For many, this hill represents the north gate of the Ilcinese territory, which welcomes those coming from Siena in the best possible way. The compositions of the soils, rich of marl, on which the vineyards of the Fattoria del Pino extend, together with the mild hilly temperatures, and the right ventilation, favor the cultivation of precious plants from which much higher quality wine is produced. The work done in the cellar is consistent with the aim of creating bottles with a strong personality, thanks to a traditional process, medium-long fermentations and a long rest in the cellar that enhances the flavors.

Rosso di Montalcino DOC by Fattoria del Pino is produced with pure Sangiovese grapes. Vinification takes place by medium-long maceration on the skins with frequent pumping over to facilitate maximum extraction from the skins, with strictly manual processes. The refinement takes place for 12 months in steel and 8 months in 50 hl Slavonian oak barrels, to then refine at least another 4 months in bottle.
