Herno Sloe Gin

The Swedish Hernö distillery was founded by bartender Jon Hillgren after a long work experience in London, and a particular passion for gin. It's no coincidence that the small artisan distillery is located near the town of Härnösand in an area of ​​Sweden called ‘Höga kusten’ a World Heritage Site for UNESCO for its natural beauty among islands, lakes and hills of rare beauty. Hence the inspiration to produce a good gin with the best from genuine certified organic products from all over the world such as juniper berries from Hungary, coriander seeds from Bulgaria, Indonesian cassia, black pepper from India, Swedish cranberries, to name just a few. The result of so much care are the most awarded gins of Europe referring to the category and for lovers of drinking.

All the gin of the Hernö distillery are based on the goodness of the raw materials. Sloe is produced by leaving the plum berries to macerate for 3 months in the gin, adding honey to obtain a greater balance between dry and sweet. On the palate it is soft with floral and fruity notes of plum, cherry and dried apricot. Persistent and slightly sour finish.
