Hernö Gin

The Swedish Hernö distillery was founded by bartender Jon Hillgren after a long work experience in London, and a particular passion for gin. It's no coincidence that the small artisan distillery is located near the town of Härnösand in an area of ​​Sweden called ‘Höga kusten’ a World Heritage Site for UNESCO for its natural beauty among islands, lakes and hills of rare beauty. Hence the inspiration to produce a good gin with the best from genuine certified organic products from all over the world such as juniper berries from Hungary, coriander seeds from Bulgaria, Indonesian cassia, black pepper from India, Swedish cranberries, to name just a few. The result of so much care are the most awarded gins of Europe referring to the category and for lovers of drinking.

The London Dry Gin from Hernö was awarded as best in its category and "best Gin & Tonic" at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2017. Its round taste and oily texture on the palate, the floral notes on the nose and its long and persistent citrus and juniper taste, with a pinch of black pepper, make it very pleasant even smooth, as well as a decisive ingredient of long drinks and cocktails.
