Hibiki, which means "resonance" in Japanese, is a blended whisky that represents the pinnacle of Suntory's blending art. This spirit, born from the synergy between the three flagship distilleries of the house – Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita – embodies the essence of “wa”, or harmony and unity, a fundamental concept in Japanese culture. The creation of Hibiki is a meticulous and artisanal process, requiring years of experience and a deep knowledge of the raw materials. Malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries are aged separately in different types of barrels, including American oak, European oak and Japanese Mizunara. The Master Blender then selects and masterfully assembles the different spirits, creating a unique and balanced blend. The Hibiki bottle is a work of art in itself. Its 24 facets represent the 24 seasons of the traditional Japanese calendar, symbolizing the continuous flow of time and the cyclical nature. The elegant and refined design, inspired by the decorative motifs of Japanese culture, makes Hibiki a collector's item.

Bright, brilliant and inviting amber color, reminiscent of the warm rays of the sun filtered through autumn leaves. Complex and multifaceted aroma, with a dominant floral bouquet characterized by notes of rose, lychee and delicate hints of rosemary. Elegant woody nuances of sandalwood are also perceived, which intertwine with hints of ripe fruit such as apricot and orange blossom. Soft, enveloping and persistent taste, with a balanced sweetness reminiscent of honey and candied orange peel. Notes of dried apricot and white chocolate follow, which blend with delicate spices and hints of Mizunara oak, a typical Japanese wood with balsamic and vanilla notes. Long and persistent finish, with a pleasant spicy and woody aftertaste that leaves a sensation of warmth and satisfaction. Hibiki is an extremely versatile whisky, which lends itself to different consumption occasions. It can be enjoyed neat, with a few drops of water or an ice cube, or used to prepare sophisticated cocktails. It pairs perfectly with raw fish dishes, sushi, sashimi and mature cheeses.
