In a unique and inimitable terroir, 400 m above sea level, in the heart of Sicily, there are 75 hectares of vineyards owned by the Milazzo family, where the climatic characteristics of the hill and the morphology of the land combine with the beneficial influences of a typically Mediterranean climate, with mild summers and mild winters; a constant and light breeze, which favors the day-night temperature range and good ventilation of the plant. A territory characterized by a particular concentration of morphologically varied soils: from dark clays integrated with organic matter to white calcareous ones; the former with constant and homogeneous fertility, the latter ideal for guaranteeing wines rich and complex aromatic profiles. With a history that spans five generations and that continues in the name of valorizing the company tradition, thanks to the commitment of Giuseppina Milazzo and Saverio Lo Leggio, united in the desire to give continuity to the virtuous evolution of the family business, the most interesting aspect of the way of "making wine" is represented by the tireless work in the vineyard. The natural improvement of the vines is the result of a technical path that has been going on for over fifty years, which made them the first producers of classic method sparkling wines in Sicily, and the first Sicilian winemakers, between the end of the seventies and the beginning of the eighties, to exalt the winemaking from native Sicilian vines. Organic and sustainable. The BIO certification seals the commitment that they have always put in place as winemakers to produce quality and is also evidence of the responsibility they feel to be custodians of the environment in which they operate, with the precise intent of arriving at producing a great Sicilian Classic Method sparkling wine.

Maria Costanza Bianco represents a point of reference in the Sicilian wine scene, the result of a careful selection of grapes and careful vinification. This white wine, produced by the Giuseppe Milazzo farm, is a blend of two noble vines: Inzolia, a native Sicilian vine, and Chardonnay, an international variety that has found an ideal habitat in Sicily. The vinification of Maria Costanza Bianco takes place partly in steel at low temperatures, to preserve the aromatic freshness of the grapes, and partly in French oak barriques, to give the wine greater complexity and structure. The choice to refine part of the wine in wood is a distinctive feature of this product, which differentiates it from classic Sicilian white wines.

Intense straw yellow color with greenish reflections, a symptom of the freshness and youth of the wine. The nose is complex and enveloping, with fruity notes of citrus (citron, grapefruit), white peach and pineapple, enriched by delicate floral nuances of hawthorn and acacia. You can also perceive more evolved hints of vanilla and brioche, due to the short maturation in wood. Balanced and harmonious taste, with a good structure and a pleasant flavor. The attack is fresh and fruity, followed by a full and enveloping body. The persistence is long, with a pleasantly bitterish finish that leaves a pleasant sensation of freshness. Maria Costanza Bianco is a versatile wine that lends itself to numerous gastronomic combinations. It is ideal to accompany fish dishes, crustaceans, molluscs and seafood risottos. It also pairs well with white meats, fresh cheeses and grilled vegetables. Its good structure also makes it perfect to accompany more elaborate and structured dishes.
