Paolo Panerai is the enlightened entrepreneur to whom we owe the success of a historic Chianti Classico winery such as Castellare di Castellina, and the birth of the Feudi del Pisciotto winery which extends for 44 hectares on the hills between Caltagirone and Piazza Armerina in the heart of Sicily. The main grape is Nero d'Avola, and the winery is characterized by the historic millstone in which wine was made already at the time of the Greeks and Romans. It's here that 250 meters above sea level, a few kilometers from the coast where a perfect microclimate reigns, the vines are cultivated with obsessive care and excellent wines are produced from Cerasuolo di Vittoria to Frappato, from Chardonnay to Merlot that make Feudi del Pisciotto one of the most significant winemaking realities of the island. Worthy of note is the collection dedicated to the Great Stylists who sign the individual labels in a tribute to wine and fashion, and part of the proceeds from sales are reinvested for the recovery of a Sicilian work of art or monument.

The Feudi del Pisciotto white fig wine comes from insolia and chardonnay grapes from vineyards cultivated on a medium-textured soil tending to sandy at an altitude of about 80 meters above sea level. The yield per hectare is 79 ql. After the harvest at the end of August, the grapes are vinified in steel where they also undergo malolactic fermentation and then refine first in barriques for 6 months and then in bottles for 4 months.

The Feudi del Pisciotto white fig wine has a straw yellow tending to golden. the nose is fine and delicate with a floral bouquet, among which the notes of white-fleshed fruit broom stand out, from peach to golden apple. Citrus scents stand out on the palate.
