Donnafugata was born in Sicily thanks to the initiative taken by a family that with enormous passion and commitment has been able to innovate the style of Sicilian wine in the world. Giacomo Rallo, descendant of the fourth generation of the family that for 160 years has been committed with passion and love in the creation of high quality wines, founded Donnafugata in 1983 together with his wife Gabriella, a pioneer of viticulture in Sicily. Today the sons José and Antonio lead the entire company and a team of people oriented towards excellence.

Donnafugata is a winery that cultivates its vines in Sicily, a very particular volcanic land where in fact the climate is Mediterranean with incredibly hot and dry summers, very ventilated and characterized by extreme temperature ranges. In these vineyards everything is aimed at producing the best grapes possible, to offer a Sicilian wine of excellence.
