C'D'C' Cristo di Campobello Bianco

The project of the Baglio del Cristo di Campobello winery was born in the early 2000s from an idea by Angelo, Domenico and Carmelo Bonetta animated by the ardent desire to bottle the Sicilian wine tradition. It all started in the hilly areas around the Baglio, ancient isolated buildings in the Sicilian countryside, in Campobello di Licata where the statue of a Christ crucified in the vineyards attracts a large pilgrimage every year on May 3rd. Inspired by a great passion for the land in a few years the three founders, togheter with the enolgist Riccardo Cotarella, create a very modern winery, strengthened by the typical torrid microclimate of the Sicilian countryside refreshed by the breezes blowing from the Sicilian canal. After the first harvest in 2007, in a few years the company has gained an important position in the Sicilian wine scene, cultivating vines such as Grillo, Chardonnay, Nero d'Avola, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and giving life to labels that tell the authentic aromas of this wonderful land.

C'D'C 'Bianco is produced by the Baglio del Cristo di Campobello winery on the hillside vineyards of the estate at 250 meters above sea level, on calcareous soils which owes that perfect combination of flavor and freshness. The harvest is done between August and September 2018, followed by the soft pressing of the grapes and settling by cold sediment of the must. The following fermentation is in steel where the wine ages for at least 3 months followed by further refinement in the bottle for other 2 months. A white in which the Mediterranean aromas are strong and irresisteble.
