The Vinanti winery was founded in 2009 in Chiaramonte Gulfi in the province of Ragusa in south-eastern Sicily dominated by the Iblei Mountains, with the idea of ​​producing wines with a strong territorial vocation and personality. This is the intent at the basis of the entrepreneurial activity of the Mazza and Ventura families who founded and consolidated the winery on a 15-hectare plot aiming for quality and maximum respect for the environment, nature and Sicilian millennial traditions. according to the dictates of organic agriculture without any treatment with chemicals inflicted on the vineyards. The same passionate attention to detail is found both in the vineyards and in the cellar, enhancing indigenous vines such as Grillo, Nero d'Avolla, Syrah, Cerasuollo di Vittoria, Frappato to mention just a few of the varieties at the base of the Vinanti labels, synonymous with Sicilian wine excellence of today.

The Ahmar comes from Nero d'Avola grapes grown in Vittoria in the province of Ragusa, on red sand soils exposed to an ideal microclimate. The harvest starts in mid-September and fermentation traditionally takes place with maceration on the skins for 6/8 days, followed by racking, soft pressing and malolactic fermentation. Maturation takes place partly in steel for 9 months and partly in 400 liter Tonneau for 7/9 months. Then the wine refines further in the bottle for another 7 months. A red with a strong personality and seductive aromas that lends itself to aging in the cellar if well preserved up to 9 years.
