Charles Tanqueray in 1830 founded his distillery with the aim of producing a gin with an unmistakable flavor and of the highest quality. This objective has been successfully achieved as evidenced by the great diffusion and popularity in the best cocktail bars around the world of his London Dry Gin, currently produced in the Cameronbridge plant in Scotland by the beverage giant Diageo, owner of the brand. It's difficult to think of a good Gin Tonic that is not mixed with Tanqueray.

Tanqueray Ten is produced by classical distillation repeated three times in the alcohol in which the carefully selected botanicals have macerated, and a fourth disitllation in the historic still number Ten of the Cameronbridge plant, hence the name, in which whole citrus fruits are infused (orange , grapefruit, lime), juniper, coriander and chamomile flowers. Hence the fresh and elegant taste that earned him the "best white spirit" award three times at the San Francisco Worlds Spirits Competition, and the consequent inclusion in the "Hall of Fame".
