Talisker 11 yo special release 2022 with box

The history of the Talisker distillery begins as far back as 1830, founded by Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill on the Isle of Skye, in the Scottish Highlands in a landscape of verdant coasts and jagged rocky bays full of charm, bathed by the North Sea. Here we produce one of the single malts most appreciated by connoisseurs that the writer Louis Stevenson defined as "the best drink in the world". The manufacturing process is very accurate, respectful of tradition, with a double distillation system. But the real success of this distillate is the raw material, that is the malt and spring water already rich in peat that flows from the undergrounds of "Cnoc-nan-speirag", hawk hill in Gaelic. Hence the intense and peaty flavor that makes it a unique single malt and for "cultured" palates.

The Talisker 11 yo special release 2022 has an intense and brilliant color with the classic peaty note with an iodine sensation that refers to the northern cliffs and enriched by spicy notes due to the use of ex-bourbon barrels. Good intensity with an oily sensation that makes drinking pleasant. Long finish with peaty aromas and spices.
