Aberlour is a Scottish distillery founded in 1789 by James Fleming, at that time one of the most modern in the Speyside region traditionally dedicated to whiskey, whose crystal clear waters of the River Spey are used in the production. The whiskeys it produces are generally sweet due to the refinement in sherry barrels which particularly delineate its character. We can say that Aberlour is a true Speyside whiskey.
