Ballantine's 30 years

George Ballantine founded the distillery in 1827 in Dumbarton in Scotland, in his food shop. Blended whiskeys were produced and the business became familiar until George Junior's nephew George sold it in 1919. The company has since changed many properties always respecting the quality standard that had made it famous. In 2002 the headquarters moved to Glasgow on the banks of the River Clyde and in 2005 it was acquired by the French giant Pernod-Ricard.

Ballantine's is a Blended Scotch Whiskey assembled with distillates aged at least 30 years that preserve a range of aromas that warms and fills the palate. The nose has hints of peach, vanilla pear juice, with a slightly smoky aftertaste. The taste is complex and the floral and fruity notes accompany us towards a very long and spicy finish. Excellent whiskey all to enjoy.
