Brunello di Montalcino Corte dei Venti is a red wine of great structure with an intense bouquet of ripe red fruit, cocoa, vanilla, with slight hints of tobacco and herbaceous notes. On the palate it's full and round, supported by a good freshness that helps to outline the strong gustatory personality.
Poggio dei Lecci is the Sant'Antimo Rosso from the Corte dei Venti winery, a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, with a ruby red color with violet reflections. Le Difese is a wine produced by Tenuta San Guido since 2003. A blend of Cabernet (70%) and Sangiovese (30%), with a ruby red color and a bouquet with fruity and floral aromas. On the palate it's structured and extremely soft, with a pleasant freshness and a clean and persistent finish. An elegant red wine that enhances the flavor of a good slice of grilled meat.
This was the first Sangiovese to be aged in barriques, the first red wine to be blended with non-traditional varieties (like Cabernet) and one of the first Chianti reds not to use white grapes. Tignanello is a milestone. It is made from a selection of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The wine is aged in barriques for about 12 months and for a further 12 months in the bottles.
