Ravello Rosso Riserva

The selection of noble grapes, the search for the right degree of freshness and humidity combined with the passage of time, old secrets handed down by local winemakers and cutting-edge processing techniques give life to wines of the highest quality, esteemed throughout the world. Andrea Ferraioli and Marisa Cuomo, with the winemaker Luigi Moio and the winemakers of the company, choose to focus on quality to stand out in the panorama of Italian winemaking with wines with a unique and extraordinary flavor like the territory of the Furore coast. The overripe grapes are harvested by hand and arrive in the cellar intact. After soft pressing, the free-run must, after cold static clarification and inoculation of selected yeasts, ferments at a temperature of 12 ° C for about three months in oak barrels.

Before bottling, the Ravello Rosso Riserva is aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels. It is a wine with a soft and balanced taste, with a bright ruby ​​red color in appearance. Olfactory hints of ripe red fruit, hints of black cherries, morello cherry, ripe plum with mineral hints and Mediterranean scrub at the end. Fresh and full-bodied on the palate with well-defined tannins.
