Torre Zambra stands on the first plot cultivated by the family since 1910 and is one of the most historic wineries in Abruzzo, founded by Laurentino De Cerchio in 1961 and made great by his son Riccardo in the following years.

The winery's vineyards are located on the hills with perfect south-east exposure, between 120 and 200 meters above sea level. The soils are calcareous-clayey, rich in humus and nutrients. In Villamagna the De Cerchio family grows Pecorino, Passerina and Trebbiano grapes but Montepulciano reigns supreme.

The refinement of the grapes is pressed in a soft manner, alcoholic fermentation in steel barrels at a controlled temperature, subsequently the fermentation takes place first in vitrified concrete for about 12 months and then finishing in the bottle for about 3 months.

Madia from the Torre Zambra winery has a ruby ​​red color, on the nose the aromas are of fruity aromas, Basque fruits, blackberries, raspberries and liquorice with some floral notes. The taste is strong and warm, well balanced.
