11 Filari Primitivo di Manduria is a wine produced by the San Marzano winery, it has an intense ruby red color with collapsed reflections, the nose is very fruity with hints of cherry accompanied by decidedly spicy notes, in the barrel it is decisive and roundness of and endowed with a long finish.

The San Marzano cellars represent a significant reality in Apulian viticulture, contributing to the affirmation of local wines in the national and international market. It all began in 1962 when 19 winemakers gathered to share resources and experiences to meet the challenge of the then continuously developing world of wine. Today the cooperative has 1200 members and 1500 hectares of vineyards in the hinterland of Taranto and in Salento. The wines it produces testify to the great respect for its land and its traditions, but with an eye always looking forward in knowing how to interpret technological development always in favor of the best sustainable quality. The attention to the preservation and enhancement of the old sapling vines, has conveyed the production largely towards Primitivo and Negroamaro, while not neglecting other Apulian vines such as Malvasia Nera del Salento, Verdeca or the same international grapes Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot that have adapted well in Puglia.

what characterizes the 11 Filari Primitivo di Manduria Dolce Naturale is its maceration which takes place for 10 days on the lees, the process ends with the refinement in French and American barriques for 12 months. A high quality and unique product perfect to accompany dark chocolate, aged cheeses and desserts.
