La Dama Forestiera

The history of the d'Araprì winery stems from the friendship between Girolamo D'Amico, Louis Rapini, Ulrico Priore, who share the passion for jazz, first, and then for wine and their land. So it was that from the rediscovery of the native vines of the Tavoliere area in Puglia, accompanied by a good dose of courage and entrepreneurial skills, the three friends decided to found the winery in 1979, among the first to believe in the production of classic method sparkling wines of great value in the south Italy, demonstrating how the native Bombino white grape was particularly suitable for sparkling wine. From here to the first awards, the step was short, and today d'Araprì represents a reality capable of enhancing the territory and its typicality by producing excellent wines and confirming the vocation of viticulture in Puglia region.
