Porto Tawny

In 1730, Henry Burmester and John Nash founded Burmester & Nash, General company, in London. The company was moved to Vila Nova de Gaia and in 1750 began to trade with the British Isles and the rest of Europe.
The association was dissolved at the end of the century when Henry Burmester Jr. and his sons, founded a new wine company Porto H. Burmester & Sons.
In 1834, for the fact that neither of the two brothers had descendants, Johann Wilhelm Burmester, a family member residing in Hamburg, he was invited to join to 'wine company of Porto.
Years later, in 1880, he changed the name to J. W. Burmester & C °, which has remained unchanged to this day.

Bronzy golden, intense and bright. The nose of ripe fruit, citrus and hints of vanilla. Some resinous and spicy notes create a beautiful bouquet. Elegant and round, it is a fresh and balanced wine. He fills the mouth with its sweetness and intense citrine. lingering finish with a touch of vanilla.
