Riserva Coppo

The origins of the Coppo company date back to 1892, which with great passion and dedication has been involved in the production of quality sparkling wines for over 120 years. In fact, the Luigi Coppo company is still exclusively family-run today and, thanks to its ability to manage the vineyards, since its origins it has become one of the oldest wine-growing companies in Italy, so much so that in 2012 Unioncamere included the company in the national register of historic businesses with more than a century of uninterrupted activity.

Riserva Coppo from the Luigi Coppo winery locates the vineyards on marly limestone soils, and with a perfect south-southwest exposure, international vines such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are also grown (at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level) used for this brut method sparkling wine classic. The grapes are used at 80% and 20% respectively, the vinification takes place with soft pressing, followed by alcoholic fermentation in barrique with rest on the yeasts for 9 months and refermentation in the bottle with disgorgement according to the Classic Method. The refinement takes place over 60 months on the yeasts.

Riserva Coppo is a quality sparkling wine with a straw yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose it is intense and fragrant, with fresh hints of ripe apple, peach and pear followed by characteristic notes of bread and yeast.
