Walter Massa can be defined in all respects as the father and pioneer of the Timorasso of the Tortonesi Hills. An independent and courageous winemaker who, since the 1970s at the helm of the family winery, which today boasts a property of 23 hectares on the hills of Monleale, has managed to successfully change, rebuild and relaunch the oenological face of the Tortona hills. His greatest merit, which has become an almost legendary figure and considered as a guru and a master of the area, was precisely that of revitalizing an indigenous white grape variety always underestimated, which in the past also risked extinction, Timorasso, by investing strongly on him and sensing his great potential to give birth to exciting wines of extraordinary longevity. Contrary to any form of bureaucracy and always against the tide, Walter is convinced that wine is made in the vineyard and in the cellar, not with brands and documents, for this reason he has chosen not to forcibly resort to denominations shown on labels, thanks to his consolidated reputation of true artisan of wine. The wines of the Massa vineyards are the aim of a project that, without prevarication, gives the right importance to the vineyard and the winemaker, to the cellar and the cellar artisan, to the territory and its microcosm, to innovation but not to fashions, to the right consideration of the entire distribution circuit, all with respect for the consumer.

The Implicito Vigneti Massa is an artisanal wine, obtained from native red grapes, coming from 30-60 years old vines, which undergoes a spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with the exclusive use of indigenous yeasts in steel tanks and maceration on the skins for 8 -10 days.

L'Implicito Vigneti Massa is a wine with a slender and drinkable profile and a rustic and spontaneous character, it has a bright ruby ​​red color, with violet reflections. On the nose there are floral olfactory notes, berries, of noble rusticity, material, with hints that range from spices, to undergrowth, to small red fruits and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is light, slender, satisfying, with great smoothness and freshness, dynamic and with a pleasant fruity persistence.
