Bel Piano Moscato d'Asti

The Cascina Fonda farm was founded in 1963 by Secondino Barbero and then passed to his sons Massimo and Marco who began bottling the wine produced in 1988. A story founded on the vocation of a territory like that of Piedmont, on the passion for the land and on the entrepreneurial ability to carry out a project over time. Today with 12 hectares of vineyards between the municipalities of Mango and Neive, the Barbero brothers produce, in addition to Moscato d'Asti, Dolcetto, Barbaresco, Brachetto marketed in Italia and in other countries of the world.

Moscato d'Asti Bel Piano is obtained from Moscato Bianco di Canelli grapes. The white vinification involves fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C for 20 days, after which the second fermentation takes place in an autoclave with the addition of selected yeasts and an additional pressure of 1.5 bar. The stabilization of the wine is obtained at temperatures of -4 ° C followed by microflitration and bottling, and aging in bottles for several weeks. Versatile, light and drinkable wine, excellent as an aperitif but also in perfect combination with a dessert at the end of a good dinner.
