Ferdinando Principiano grew up in the family vineyards in Monforte d'Alba, and at the age of 45 he already has more than 25 harvests on his shoulders. It was he who in 1993 succeeded to the head of the company, unlike his grandfather and his father, decided to bottle the first wines, instead of selling just the grapes. It was an immediate success, deserving an important space on a national and international level. The secret is the very strong bond with the land, with its traditions and virtues. The maniacal care of the vineyard led him to leave the traditional viticulture for the natural one in 2003, abolishing herbicides and chemical products, aiming at the utmost respect for the nature and genuineness of the products. Hence accurate and virtuous processes that have given life to strongly identifying labels, which exalt both the terroir and the indigenous varieties linked to it.

Dosset is produced with Dolcetto grapes grown in the vineyards of Sant'Anna and San Martino di Monforte d'Alba, vinified in steel only with the aim of obtaining a wine with contagious drinkability with its modest 11% alcohol by volume, and a juicy and fragrant taste. An excellent natural daily wine, produced without adding sulphites and no filtration.
