Tenuta Carretta directly leads to a vineyard area of ​​70 hectares divided into several plots. The main unit is located in the heart of Roero in the municipality of Piobesi d’Alba, and is represented by a complex of about 35 hectares of vineyards that form a sort of natural theater around the building where the winery is located. These are medium-hill vineyards, well exposed and cultivated with the Guyot system. Here the soil is of marine origin and is made up of loose calcareous marl alternating with layers of sand and pebbles, dry and rich in mineral salts. The exposure of the vineyards varies from South to South-West, and the cultivated varieties are: Roero Arneis, Favorita, Chardonnay, Barbera and Nebbiolo.

A ruby ​​red tending to purple distinguishes this wine with hints of flowers and berries. Typical, balanced, harmonious and elegant taste. Winery located in the territory of the municipality of Piobesi d'Alba, where they make wine from their vineyards in Roero and Langhe.
