Iginio Mssari's story is animated by talent and passion, which have brought him to the top of Italian and international high-end pastry making. Born in 1942, his mother a cook and his father a canteen manager, he grew up among the scents and flavors of a kitchen. At just sixteen he acquired the first notions of pastry making and chocolate making in Switzerland in the French cantons where his great qualities emerged forcefully. Although courted to stay, he returned to Italy where he made a career within prestigious brands such as Bauli, Star. In 1971 he opened his first pastry shop, which was followed by others. After countless awards and recognitions, many of which were institutional, in 2018 he was awarded the "Maestro dei Maestri del lievito madre" Award. Today he leads a consolidated and established company in the production of high-end pastry making, accompanied by 3 stores in Brescia, Turin and Milan.
