Titulus is the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi icon of the Fazi Battaglia winery, with its renewed and unmistakable bottle in the shape of an amphora. The color is a straw yellow with greenish reflections, while on the nose there are fruity aromas of pear, apple and anise and broom flowers. In the mouth it is fresh, pleasantly savory and mineral with an almond finish that envelops the palate.

Fazi Battaglia was born in 1949 from the union of the Fazi and Battaglia families in the town of Cupramontana in the Marche region. A few years later it was acquired by Francesco Angelini, founder of the pharmaceutical industry of the same name and former mayor of Ancona, who gave a great impetus to the development of the winery both in terms of quality and innovation of production processes. Icon of this profound change is the bottle of Verdicchio in the shape of an amphora to distinguish and launch a wine that was then little known, an operation that was so successful that it strongly identified not only the Marche region through its native vine, but also that Made in Italy, so in vogue in those years as lifestyle. Today the Fazi Battaglia company with its 130 hectares of vineyards continues to represent the Marche winemaking tradition in the world.

The Titulus by Fazi Battaglia is produced in the classical area of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi. Verdicchio grapes are carefully selected and harvested by hand, and then undergo cold maceration and soft pressing. Fermentation takes place in steel at controlled temperatures of 14-16 ° C, after which the wine is refined for 4 months on the fine lees, hence the typical flavor that strongly characterizes it.
