Color deep ruby red, bright and shining. Bouquet penetrating and lingering aromas that carry to the nose precise scents of pulpy fruit, especially blackberry, along with hints of liquorice and graphite. Light balsamic overtones complete the wholesomeness of the aroma. Austere, silky mouthfeel, with a strong impact and with excellent follow-through, a strong, unerring character hallmarked by dense yet soft, subtle tannins.
