In 1999, the Antinori family's over 100-year-old winemaking tradition joined that of the Counts Maggi to manage the vineyards of the Montenisa estate in the heart of Franciacorta and produce labels of absolute value such as Cuvée Royale, Contessa Maggi, Conte Aino, Blanc de Blancs and Rosé. The hills on which the flourishing vineyards extend are those around the wonderful village of Calino, linked over the centuries to the Counts Maggi, a hamlet of Cazzago San Martino in the province of Brescia, where the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc vines have been cultivated for years at the base of Franciacorta production. The best grapes are carefully selected and processed in the historic cellars of the estate, where the art of winemaking is reflected in the grandeur of the secular context, keeper of great traditions. From here come excellent wines that rest for a long time on the lees to exalt the maximum personality and elegance.

Marchese Antinori's Cuvée Royale is one of the excellent products resulting from the cutting of the three princely vines of Franciacorta, Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco. A sparkling wine that rests 36 months on the lees, and is confirmed by its freshness, elegance and balance, among the best in the denomination.
