The Monsupello agricultural company was founded about a century ago, way back in 1893 in the locality of Cà del Tava in the municipality of Oliva Gessi. It was subsequently in 1914 that the Boatti family purchased another estate called ''Podere La Borla'' in the municipality of Torricella Verzate, a few kilometers away. Here they built the same cellar which today has been enlarged, improved and made modern thanks to new production technologies. The company currently boasts 50 hectares of owned vineyards to have low grape yields per hectare, the manual harvest is carried out exclusively in boxes. An all-Italian company that is constantly evolving according to current market needs, and well oriented towards continuing the path started by Carletto very well.

The white Riesling of the Monsupello winery is produced with the pure Riesling Renano vine, grown in the first hilly area of ​​the Oltrepò Pavese at an altitude of approximately 150 meters above sea level. The vineyards are located in the municipal areas of Oliva Gessi and Torricella Verzate, with exposures ranging from south-east to south-west and are trained in Guyot. The soil is made up of calcareous-clayey marl, the harvest usually takes place towards the first half of September. We proceed with the soft pressing of the whole grapes to extract only the free-run must, avoiding contact with oxygen with the use of nitrogen and dry ice, in order to preserve all the aromas of the Riesling. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18°C ​​and always rests in steel until the following spring when it is bottled with light microfiltration.

The Riesling produced by the Monsupello winery has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections, on the nose the aromas are fruity, of citrus fruits, white fruit and with floral notes. The taste is fresh and delicate with fruity aromas.
