Rosso San Giovenale is a wine with a strong personality, identifiable in the power of the fruit. With its scents of wild berries in syrup or in alcohol and the sweet notes of withering alongside the woody spiciness, in a warm, pleasant direct body and the caressing tannins that unite the San Giovenale labels.

From the enchanting landscape of Tuscia, with its clayey mixture, the San Giovenale winery is born, mother of excellent wines, such as Habemus, born from the juicy grapes grown on these hills, under the heat of the sun and mitigated by the soft breezes of the Tyrrhenian a dry and temperate climate. The vineyards are organized with a very high plant density, 11,000 plants per hectare. The low yield of grapes (25q per hectare) and the aging of 20 months in new barriques, finally guarantee the excellence of Habemus. Wine resulting from a particular sensitivity for the environment that can be found at every production step, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. In fact, San Giovenale Agricola is a certified organic company that has as its undisputed priority the protection of the territory: garden vineyards, use in the field only of spring water and plant products for plant health, garden roofs, ventilated walls and roofs and a system of innovative temperature control by capturing geothermal heat, in order to have a low energy consumption, entirely self-produced with an innovative photovoltaic system. Wine that returns the pleasure of feeling there, surrounded by the vineyards and under the sun, breathing the scent of Mediterranean salt in the air and tasting the juicy pulp of freshly picked grapes. This is possible because Habemus is a completely natural wine, which has the gift of receiving all the care and attention of a company that produces only this wine, as a sincere expression of the richness and complexity of its uncontaminated territory.
Rosso San Giovinale grows on soils with a strong clayey component, trained as a sapling. Particularly noteworthy is the very high planting density which leads the plants to a rather low yield to the advantage of the quality and richness of useful substances in fermentation. In the field, only frozen water and vegetable products are used, for the health of the plants. Fermentation takes place spontaneously and the wines leave the cellar after spending at least 20 months in new barriques. The great attention to the environment translates concretely into a series of low environmental impact solutions in the production phase, to achieve substantial conservation of energy and without the use of fossil fuels.
Rosso San Giovinale makes the nose perceive hints of red fruit that leave room for spicy notes of pepper, cinnamon and licorice. On the palate it is elegant and well balanced with fruity notes and a long and persistent finish.
