The Giacobbe farm begins its history in 1939 with Leopoldo who buys a hectare of land on top of the San Giovenale hill in the Province of Frosinone. Since then the cultivated hectares have become 15 of which 9 are vineyards between the municipalities of Paliano, Piglio and Olevano Romano. The vineyards located at a higher altitude are cultivated in Cesanese di Affile, thanks to their volcanic composition, while in those located at a lower altitude the Passerina del Frusinate is cultivated. Today with Alberto Giacobbe we are in the third generation of winemakers and producers of excellent wine, in a constant balance between tradition and innovation.

This Passerina del Frusinate IGP Duchessa by Alberto Giacobbe expresses the richness of a territory such as Ciociaria, and gives credit to the native grape variety par excellence of these lands. The vines were planted in 1979 and Alberto Giacobbe vinifies the grapes in white in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, and then moves on to the aging phase, again in steel and at least 3 months in the bottle.
