Tellus Syrah by the Cotarella Family is a still red wine that authentically expresses the character of the Syrah grape variety grown in the Lazio region. Produced by the renowned Cotarella winery, this wine represents an excellent expression of the local terroir and the family's winemaking experience. The wine is obtained exclusively from Syrah grapes, a grape variety of French origin that has perfectly adapted to the climate and soils of the Tuscia Viterbese. The vineyards, located about 300 meters above sea level, enjoy optimal exposure to the sun and sandy soil that gives the wine a characteristic minerality and freshness. The planting density and low yields per hectare allow for the production of grapes of the highest quality, rich in aromas and concentration. The vinification of Tellus Syrah follows rigorous traditional procedures, with alcoholic fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature to preserve the aromatic integrity of the grapes. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for a variable period depending on the vintage, acquiring complexity and spicy notes.

Intense ruby ​​red color with purple reflections, which evolve towards garnet tones with aging. Complex and persistent aroma, with hints of ripe red fruit (blackberry, black cherry), spicy notes (black pepper, cloves), touches of vanilla and light smokiness deriving from the aging in wood. Enveloping and structured taste, with soft and velvety tannins. The olfactory sensations are found on the palate, with a perfect balance between fruit, spices and wood. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant mineral aftertaste. Tellus Syrah is a versatile wine that pairs perfectly with grilled or braised red meat dishes, game, mature cheeses and tasty first courses.
