Regius

The Regius is the result of a cultivation and production that has been operating with organic farming for over 20 years. The Giangirolami company was founded in 1956 and over time was transformed into a reality of 80 hectares of land between vineyards and orchards, all treated and fertilized in full respect of the ecosystem.

The vineyard consists of three bodies registered in the register of IGT Lazio vineyards; of these two fall within the area of ​​the Roman castles in Doc, the other in the Doc area of ​​Cori. In Borgo Montello (Le Ferriere), where the property winery is also located, red grape varieties are grown, while in Doganella di ninfa, in the DOC area of ​​cori, almost all white grape varieties are grown except for Montepulciano and of Nero Buono. The training system is espalier with Guyot or spurred cordon pruning. The planting density is 4000 plants per hectare.

The Regius has a bright straw yellow color. The nose is intense, with aromas of citrus and exotic fruit; pineapple and banana. In the mouth it is fresh, quite savory and full-bodied with a good taste-olfactory correspondence.
