Merlot

The red Merlot is a wine of great quality from the Casale del Giglio Lazio winery. The production of this wine is not simply inscribed in the winemaking process, but was founded in 1985 by the company's love for quality grapes that make every single product special. What makes Merlot so unique are also the different types of vinification dedicated to it depending on the year: the first is based on softness, thanks to repassing, "délestage" and oxygenation of the must in fermentation; the second focuses on the taste structure, through the submerged cap technique, and on longer macerations. The result is the fresh and soft Merlot Casale del Giglio.

Merlot has an intense ruby color that contains pleasant hints of red fruit and cherry and herbaceous aftertaste; structured and persistent.
