Izzi liquor factory was founded back in 1903, when a young confectioner from Fondi, passionate about chemistry and herbal medicine, extracted from herbs, seeds and roots an infusion of extraordinary tonic and digestive properties. His name was Vincenzo Izzi and his family has kept the secret of Sambuca al caffè for four generations.
