Valentine's Day Box Zacapa Gran Reserva

Zacapa Gran Reserva rum is derived from only “Miel Virgen” cane sugar, unlike most rums based on molasses. This characteristic, together with the dedicated distillation, guarantees a vast and unique aroma. The process begins with a 5-day fermentation with a yeast extracted from pineapple and continues with aging (Solera) in oak barrels (previously used for Bourbon whiskey, Sherry and Perdo Ximenez wines), not before a combination of rums aged up to 23 years.

Zacapa Gran Reserva has an intense amber yellow color with coppery reflections and releases pleasant aromas of ripe exotic fruit, yellow flowers, cream and sweet spices. The taste, enveloping, sweet and intense, closes with hints of wood and dried figs of long and elegant persistence.
