The production philosophy of Vie di Romans is based on a deep respect for the territory and for the Friulian winemaking traditions. The vineyards, located in hilly areas characterised by a cool and breezy climate, are cultivated with sustainable methods, favouring native varieties such as Friulano, Pinot Grigio and Merlot. The Friulian terroir, with its gravelly and marly soils, gives Vie di Romans wines a unique minerality and freshness. The production of Vie di Romans wines follows a rigorous protocol: The grapes are selected manually at the time of harvest, to guarantee the highest quality. The vinification takes place both in white and red, depending on the grape variety. For the whites, fermentation takes place in steel at low temperatures to preserve the fruity aromas. For the reds, traditional maceration and fermentation techniques are used. The wines are aged in steel, wood or in the bottle, depending on the type of wine and the desired style. Bottling takes place in an aseptic manner, to ensure maximum hygiene and the preservation of the organoleptic characteristics of the wine. Vie di Romans wines have received numerous national and international awards, thanks to their quality and distinctive style.

Vieris is a Friulian white wine of great character, produced by the renowned Vie di Romans winery. Made from pure Sauvignon Blanc grapes, grown in the Friuli Isonzo area, this wine fully expresses the peculiarities of the vine and the terroir of origin. The vinification of Vieris involves a careful selection of the grapes during the harvest phase, followed by soft pressing and cold maceration to enhance the varietal aromas. Fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature, to preserve the freshness and liveliness of the wine. Subsequently, the wine is aged in barriques for a variable period, depending on the vintage, to give greater complexity and structure.

Intense straw yellow color with greenish reflections, typical of Sauvignon Blanc. Complex and persistent aroma, characterized by intense fruity notes of citrus (grapefruit, citron), white-fleshed fruit (peach, pineapple) and tropical (passion fruit), enriched by floral (elderberry, acacia) and herbaceous (tomato leaf) nuances. On the palate it is broad and structured, with a perfect balance between acidity and softness. The fruity flavors perceived on the nose are confirmed, accompanied by pleasant mineral notes and a long and persistent finish, with a light bitterish aftertaste typical of the grape variety. Vieris is an extremely versatile wine, able to accompany different types of dishes. It pairs perfectly with fish carpaccio, raw seafood, fresh and mature cheeses. Seafood risotto, fresh pasta with fish or vegetable sauces. Baked or grilled fish, white meat, poultry.
