Ronco delle Cime is one of the two Cru wines of the Venica & Venica company produced from Friulano grapes vinified in purity, carefully selected from the best of the harvest. It has a golden straw yellow color and a bouquet with smoky notes of peach and almond. On the palate it's savory, fresh and with a rare balance that makes it a great wine to be tasted.

The Venica & Venica winery has its roots in 1930 and has consolidated itself as a reality that well interprets the synthesis between tradition and innovation. Located in the heart of Collio, in the hills between Udine and Gorizia, land of Ribolla Gialla, it is strictly family-run and stands out for its eco-sustainable vocation, for its great commitment to maintaining the integrity of the land and protecting biodiversity. All the vineyards are managed and designed with Biodynamic Agriculture, and in 2011 the company joined V.I.V.A. SUSTAINABLE WINE - Evaluation of the impact of Viticulture on the Environment - national pilot project launched by the Ministry of the Environment in collaboration with nine companies and three research centers for sustainable wine "Made in Italy". The project measures the sustainability performance of the vine-wine supply chain, starting from the calculation of water and carbon footprints (Water and Carbon footprint).
Ronco delle Cime is the vineyard that gives its name to this wine that represents the excellence of the Venica & Venica winery, and which together with Ronco delle Mele Sauvignon is the spokesperson of the "Spirito del Posto" project, to witness its great bond with the hilly territory of the Collio. The Friulano grapes come from well exposed soils at 200 meters above sea level, caressed by a cool breeze, and with the typical composition based on sandstone marl. These are the characteristics that contribute to making it a great award-winning wine, in addition to the careful vinification process, which uses innovative systems in the maceration phase, recycling the same fermentation carbon dioxide and limiting the contribution of antioxidants to a minimum. The wine then ferments and ages on the lees in wooden barrels for 6 months and is strictly bottled at the full moons between March and June.
