Malvasia Istriana 2011 is a wine with a well structured, decisive and complete character. Podversic defines his wines as the great women: complete. This white represents well its terroir, of the Gorizia area.

Damijan Podversic was one of the architects of the renewal of the world of wine that has crossed the Collio area from the 1990s onwards. Josko Gravner's favorite pupil, at the beginning of his career he carried out the vinification in wood; subsequently he decided to adopt the practice of maceration of grapes and to use theories on the influences of the moon and the constellations of the terrestrial ecosystem to decide the time of harvest and the various stages of the transformation of the grapes.

The Podversic vineyards are located on the southern slope of Monte Calvario, in an evocative environment to which every attention is paid: Damijan Podversic follows biodynamic agriculture, aimed at preserving the ecosystem. Each operation takes place respecting the soil, plants and, in general, the surrounding environment. This contributes to making its wines of excellence.

In fact, Malvasia Istriana is born from a physical and mental fermentation of the grape, but also of its producer. It is a wine that expresses the balance between nature and culture, between acting and not acting, between sensitivity and rationality.
