Since 1946, Messrs R Gabriel and Pagin cultivate their vineyards Ha 9.5, distributed on Grand Cru Avize and Cremant and the Primier Cru Mutigny and Avenay Val d'Or, with maximum respect for the environment (Carte Ampelos ) and where all the Pinot Nero product, is transformed to give rise to 35,000 bottles, divided into 4 types of unique and authentic champagne. They give priority to working the land under the vine rows and around the vine stocks: this method is an alternative to using herbicides. This helps maintain and develop the microbial life of the soil. Treatments are used on a case-by-case basis and at a very low dose: only after precise observation by a technician and as a complement to every possible effort to reinforce the natural resistance of our vines to diseases. Our objective is to favour deep rooting of the vines in order to allow the complexity of our terroir to be expressed in the coming grapes. In order to do so, we use organic amendments authorised by organic agriculture regulations and we plough the land.

Golden robe with copper nuances. The nose reveals very ripe fruit aromas: apricot, quince and greengage, which evolve to cherry wine smells and walnut wine. Fresh at first, the palate expresses notes of peach and mirabelle plum and develops final notes of dried fig and candied fruits. This champagne reveals a pleasant freshness with a powerfull and a generous personality.
