Crémant d'Alsace Brut Rosé

The Domaine Allimant-Laugner was born over two centuries ago, when the Napoleonic officer François Antoine Allimant purchased a ''domaine'' and some surrounding land in Alsace. The Allimant-Laugner combination was subsequently created with the marriage between Mariette Allimant and René Laugner . Today, three generations of the Allimant–Laugner family work in the company based in Haut-Koenigsbourg in Alsace and the vineyards extend over 12 hectares with soils mainly composed of chalk, granite or gneiss which give their products an exclusive note.

The family's Cremant d'Alsace Rosé is a style that is growing in popularity and is made using the traditional method which is the same winemaking approach used for Champagne. The Pinot Noir grapes are gently pressed after a short maceration to create the stunning pale pink color and the must is then fermented twice. The second fermentation takes place inside the bottle and the wine is aged on the lees to add further complexity and body.
