Remy Gresser is considered one of the most representative producers of Alsace. The Domaine Gresser is located in Andlau, halfway between Strasbourg and Colmar, on the Alsace wine route, at the foot of Mount Sainte Odile, on hills that are prestigious for the quality of their wines and for their historical importance. The company philosophy is entirely focused on respecting the environment and the vineyard in the wake of the teachings of the ancestors to preserve nature for future generations, trying to implement a work in the vineyard that allows the vineyard itself to "self-heal" through the use of bio-dynamics. According to Gresser, the role of the winemaker consists in allowing the vineyard to regulate itself, facilitating exchanges between the natural elements: the soil, water and habitat, which contribute to the cycle of life.

The Brandhof Pinot Noir Domaine Gresser comes from about 44 years old vines grown on calcareous soil with an exposure to the East. The low yields and the terroir allow us to have an important fruit from which to start a great Pinot Noir. As for all the production of Domaine Gresser, the vines do not undergo synthetic chemical treatments and the principles of bio-dynamics are respected. In September, when the grapes are physiologically ripe, manual harvesting takes place. After a careful selection, the grapes are softly pressed and then macerated for 6 days. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature using only indigenous yeasts.

The Brandhof Pinot Noir Domaine Gresser is a balanced wine with clear notes of red fruits typical of the variety and with an elegant tannin texture and good persistence.
