The Dampt family has been dedicated to viticulture in the famous and renowned area of ​​Chablis for more than 150 years. Since 2007 the reins of the company have passed into the hands of Sébastien Dampt, oenologist with numerous work experiences in the field. On the 8-hectare estate near the city of Milly, only pure Chardonnay grapes are grown, with an obsessive care for quality and respect for nature and the great biodiversity of the area. The goal has always been to obtain healthy grapes with the best organoleptic characteristics, processed with the same accurate passion in the cellar, monitoring every single step. From all this skilful dedication wines with great elegance and purity, with a marked aromatic complexity, and the inevitable minerality expression of the terroir are born.

Domain Sébastien Dampt's Chablis comes from plants that are around 50 years old. The grapes are harvested by hand, and after soft pressing the must rests for a whole night at a controlled temperature of 12/15 °. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks for about 15 days, in order to ensure the purity of the wine, and after maloolactic fermentation it matures on the fine lees for a few months in steel containers and then bottled. The result is a wine with a crystalline color, faithful to the terroir from which it comes from which embodies the elegant complexity.

Domain Sébastien Dampt's Chablis has a light yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose it expresses delicate aromas of white fruit, fresh citrus notes and mineral nuances. On the palate it is fine and elegant, with light fruity notes and a lively acidity.
