In the mouth it is perfectly balanced and fragrant, with great creaminess and a long and persistent finish.

The Domaine Rousseaux-Batteux was born from the idea of a long family lineage, the Rousseaux in fact, always work the vineyard and Adrian Rousseaux represents the fourth generation of winemakers, like Paul's grandfather who started producing champagne on his own in 1920. The cellar was originally used by schoolchildren as a shelter from bombing in the First World War, as it was located very close to the target of the Reims Cathedral.
