Blanc de Blancs

Louis Picamelot son of a cooper and winemaker founded his Maison in 1926, among the very first inhabitants of the well-known French town with a wine vocation Rully to launch the production of a Burgundian sparkling wine called "Bourgogne Mousseux". Today to the third generation Alain Chautard, Louis's great-grandson, continues to produce excellent wines by exporting them all over the world.

The Blanc de Blancs by Louis Picamelot is a Brut Méthode Traditionnelle that comes from the assembly of white wines from Chardonnay grapes particularly suited to the production of bubbles. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place initially in a stainless steel cuvée, then undergoes a second mixing in the bottle called "Prize de Mousse", with the addition of sugar and yeasts. The wines are aged on the lees for at least 9 months before being bottled. The result is a fresh, light and fragrant wine ideal as an aperitif.
