The Maison Philippe Gilbert is a creature of Giulio Menegatti fruit of his love for France and for Champagne, to whom he has dedicated 35 years of his professional life, becoming one of the most accredited Italian luminaries on it. We find the traces of this deep passion in the memories of Giulio himself, who tells us how hard it's to hold back the emotion reached in Reims in front of the portal of the Cathedral dedicated to San Remigio, one of the greatest examples of Gothic style, embellished with painted windows by the Russian naturalized French painter Marc Chagall. From this passionate and exquisitely emotional approach comes the idea of ​​dedicating the labels of each single bottle to a painting by Chagall, registering them at the Comité Interprofessionnel du Vin Champagne based in Eperney, in order to be able to freely market them all over the world.
As Giulio Menegatti says, "a great Champagne must know how to fly those who taste it, must possess body and finesse", like that cycling champion Philippe Gilbert, an example of extraordinary humanity, strength and elegance to which the name of the Maison is dedicated.

Philippe Gilbert's Cuvée Les Amoureuses is produced by selecting the best pure Pinot Noir grapes from the villages of the Ay area, certified Premierer Cru. A Champagne of great aromatic complexity whose label depicts Marc Chagall's painting "Les Amoureuses".
