Avua is an artisanal distillery in Cachaça, a 4-hour drive from Rio de Janeiro, founded by the only Brazilian woman Master Distiller, who, together with a few others, had the foresight to produce this distillate with traditional processes, rejecting the industrial ones that made it a low quality product. The alembic used is the pot still, instead of the multicolonna typical of industrial processing, and the collection of the raw material is strictly manual. Another element that characterizes its complexity and intense aromas is the use of the typical Brazilian Amburana wood and the very rare Tapinhoã.

Amburana is a Cachaça that differs for 2 years aging in Amburana wooden barrels, from which a spicy and woody flavor derives, which blends harmoniously with the herbaceous and sugar cane notes.
