Foursquare Touchstone

Richard Seale was born to make Rum, this tells the legend of one of the most influential Rum producers in the world, great-grandson of Reginal Leon Seal who founded the Foursquare Distillery in 1926 in Barbados, now in its fourth generation. His battle against the addition of sugars in rum, too often without customers' knowledge, and against the correctness of the aging information on the bottle is significant. Today Foursquare Distilleries produce two main labels: Doorly's and Foursquare. The first is the backbone of the company and historical brand of Barbados Rum, the second expresses all of Richard's creativity and audacity in experimentation, giving life to limited production bottles. Characteristic of the historic brand is the refinement of the Rums in different types of barrels which guarantee their personality without ever sacrificing drinkability.

Touchstone is the latest release released by the distillery originally from Barbados. This is the twenty-second version of the Exceptional Cask Selection, which continues the award-winning Vintage series launched with the innovative and acclaimed 2004. This edition features rums specially selected by master distiller Richard Seale. Aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-cognac barrels, some coming from the Camus cellars in the heart of the Cognac region, it presents citrus and fruity notes on the nose and palate, with a spicy finish given by the French oak. Contains 61% alcohol, without filtration, without colourants, without sweeteners or other flavourings.
