Richard Seale was born to make Rum, this tells the legend of one of the most influential producers of Rum in the world, great-grandson of Reginal Leon Seal who founded the Foursquare Distillery in 1926 in Barbados, now in the fourth generation. Its battle against the addition of sugars in rum is significant, too often without the customers' knowledge, and on the correctness of the aging information present on the bottle. Today the Foursquare Distillery produce two main labels: Doorly's and Foursquare. The first is the backbone of the company and historical brand of Rum in Barbados, the second expresses all the creativity and audacity of Richard in experimentation, giving life to limited-production bottles. Characteristic of the historic brand is the refinement of the Rums in different types of barrels that guarantee their personality without ever renouncing drinkability.

The Foursquare Empery Rum is the ninth release of the Foresquare's Exceptional Cask Selection, a blend coming from the assembly of rum distilled with pot still alambic and simple column, from rums aged for no less than 14 years in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon barrels. Rich and intense flavor for this excellent rum bottled at 56°.
